Yom Ha’Zikaron, fully translated, means: "Memorial Day for the Fallen Soldiers of Israel and Victims of Terrorism". Scheduling Yom HaZikaron right before Yom Ha-Atzma'ut (Israel’s Day of Independence) is intended to remind people of the price paid for independence and of what was achieved by the soldiers' sacrifices.

On the Date of Yom HaZikaron (April 30th), Daniel Gil, the Shaliach of our community, a former Soldier, and presently an Israeli citizen who is also a reserve soldier, will give us one hour of Songs, Animation, and Dialogue about this day which is so important to all Israelis.

Join us for this Interesting event on Sunday April 30th 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm.

Presented by the Kesher Israel Committee of TBE, and The Jewish Federation of Madison.
