With great sadness, we write to inform you of the death on February 3 of David Balkansky, beloved father of Leslie (Brian) Bauman and Staci (Michael) Daugird, grandfather of Gracie Bauman and Alexis Daugird, brother of Harlan (Francine) Balkansky. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy, next to whom he will be buried in Appleton, Wisconsin.

The funeral is Tuesday, February 7, at 11:00 am, preceded by visitation at the funeral home starting at 10:00 am. The Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Home is located at 606 N. Oneida Street, Appleton. Interment will follow at Moses Montefiore Cemetery.
