With great sadness, we write to inform you of the death on Monday of Hilda Mirkin, mother of Irene (Barry) Mirkin, grandmother of Sam, step-grandmother of Dana, Alon and Jonathan. We also extend our condolences to Irene's brother, Gary, and sister-in-law, Felicia.

The funeral will be on Thursday afternoon in Youngstown, Ohio.

Irene and Barry will receive condolence calls at their home on Sunday evening between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm, with minyan at 6:00 pm. The Mirkins will also attend evening minyan at Beth Israel Center on Monday and Tuesday evenings, February 17 and 18, at 5:30 pm.
