With sadness, we write to inform you of the death on Thursday, April 18, 2019, of Is Fine, husband of Selma Lightman (z”l) and Mary Graye (z”l); father of Debra and Stephan (z”l); father-in-law to Claire; grandfather of Joshua and Rachel; and great-grandfather of Benjamin, Chase, Margaret, and Zachary. He was 100.
Is was an active leader in the Madison community for most of his life, serving as President of the Jewish Federation of Madison and on the Boards of UW Hillel and Temple Beth El. He is remembered as a truly unique individual.
Memorial observances will be held at Temple Beth El on Sunday, April 28, 2019, at 12:30 pm, after a private family burial.
