It is with great sadness, we write to inform you of the death on December 17 of Joan Stephenson, mother of Aphra (Adam) Mednick, grandfather of Eliza and Simon. She was preceded in death earlier this year by her husband, Larry Deitch.

The burial will be private on Wednesday, December 23. The family will join the Beth Israel Center minyan to say kaddish on Wednesday evening. The service begins at 5:45 pm.
