Emergencies come in all shapes and sizes, and some move more slowly than others. For farmers in Ethiopia, harsh soil conditions and a limited market often make it difficult to earn a living and support their families, deepening the cycle of endemic poverty. That’s where Tikkun Olam Ventures (TOV) comes in. JDC’s TOV is a new development assistance project that leverages Jewish philanthropy and Israel’s innovative agricultural technology (AgTech) and expertise to provide much-needed security for these hardworking farmers.
