Hello Everyone!

Finally, the email I have been waiting to send! We will be opening for the 2021 season tomorrow, Tuesday, June 22. Thank you to everyone for your patience, given this was not the start anyone wanted nor expected.

We do want you to know that the water will be a little chilly for the first few days as we have not been able to get the pilot light going on the heater. We had someone out last Friday morning after a frantic call Thursday night, thinking it was a simple fix. We should have known better, given the way things have been going. After spending some time trying, unsuccessfully, to figure it out, they put us on the schedule for Wednesday.

Speaking of temperature, just a reminder that the pool does not open when the air temperature is below 68 degrees. This policy is a standard outdoor pool guideline, not just something we "made up."

We also want everyone to know that we will be crediting you for two weeks' worth of your membership since there have been ten unplanned days that the pool was not usable. We will determine the cost based on a 12-week period, which was originally the expected pool season. Please know that it will take us a few days to get to everyone, but we will!

The entire GAC staff is so excited to see everyone! We are hopeful that, despite a late start, you will have the great experience you have come to know and love from our pool.
