Report an Antisemitic Incident

If you have experienced or witnessed antisemitic harassment or vandalism in the Madison area community, please report it using the incident reporting form (button/link below). We will contact you to gather more information. Any personal information provided will be kept strictly confidential. If this is an emergency, please dial 911. Harassment or threats, vandalism, defacement or other desecration of property should be reported to the local police department.

How does the Jewish Federation of Madison use this information?


  • The professional staff attempts to verify or corroborate all incidents.
  • We respect all requests for anonymity. All reports are confidential unless there is an agreement to reveal the identities of people involved.
  • We refrain from publishing or otherwise making available the names of individual victims or perpetrators. This policy may exclude public figures or comments made in the public domain.
  • The Jewish Federation of Madison may intervene or provide follow-up on reported incidents, including referring to local and national law enforcement and organizations (such as ADL). This is done on a case-by-case basis, in conjunction with the reporting party.
  • The information is used to develop educational and outreach programming to combat antisemitic activity.
