MadCAB

Madison Jewish Leadership Cabinet

What is MadCAB?

MadCAB is the dynamic leadership development program created by the Jewish Federation of Madison. MadCAB brings together a cohort of young adults for an 18-month program designed to enhance their leadership skills and create the next generation of leaders within Madison's Jewish Community. The program's structure aims to build leadership skills through a Jewish lens and includes guest speakers, leadership skill development, mentoring, and several subsidized group trips.

What is the time commitment?

MadCAB participants meet regularly over an 18-month period. Eight weekday evening meetings (dinner provided) will be held every other month from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm. Participants also take part in three subsidized group trips: to the Jewish Federations of North America's General Assembly conference in Chicago, a civil rights trip within the US, and a trip to Israel. See the proposed calendar below for the upcoming program.

What is the financial commitment?

MadCAB participants are asked to make a minimum donation of $1,000 to the Jewish Federation of Madison's Annual Tzedakah Campaign. Donations may be paid in installments over the course of the first 12 months of the program. The Jewish Federation of Madison will cover the cost of all program materials, as well as partially subsidize all three group trips. As community leaders, we have the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to our communities through the mitzvah of giving.

How to apply?

Please complete the online application by Monday, August 1, 2022. MadCAB staff will contact you to set up an interview once your submitted application is received.
