Community Programming

 

Jewish educational and social programs throughout the year for the community include the holiday celebrations, parties, and events below:

 

Yom HaAtzmaut Celebration

Israel Independence Day Annual celebration. Past year's festivities included comedian Benji Lovitt, BBQ, sing-along, an art workshop inspired by Chanoch Piven, a torch ceremony, performances, Israeli snacks, Hummus making contest, speakers, and an Israeli wine-tasting class.

Yom HaShoah Service & Program

Annual Holocaust Memorial Program, which includes a special service to honor Holocaust survivors and their families and a chance to remember the Shoah together as a community. The service is followed by a program. Past programs have included a talk by Professor David Shneer from UC Boulder.

Hava Nagila Jewish Community Picnic

The annual summer event at the Goodman Campus is attended by more than 1,000 community members. Activities have included hayrides, a bounce house, a velcro wall, Boulder's climbing wall, picnic games, swimming, Israeli dancing, music, information tables for local Jewish organizations, yummy food, and more.
