With great sadness, we write to inform you of the passing of Cantor Leo Fettman on Thursday, April 22, in Omaha, Nebraska at age 96. He is survived by his wife, Annette; children Jack, Aviva, Renana, and Rachel; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cantor Fettman, who served Beth Israel Center from 1963-1976, was a Holocaust survivor who wrote, Shoah: Journey from the Ashes to share his story.

The burial will be at 5:00 pm today, Friday, April 23, in Omaha.
