With great sadness, we write to inform you of the death on Tuesday morning, February 6, of Dr. Edward Norman Ehrlich, beloved husband of Rosanne Mitshkun Ehrlich; brother of David Ehrlich; father of Joel (Melanie Cohen) Ehrlich, Janet (Mark) Colson, and Lisa Ehrlich (John DeAguiar); and cherished grandfather of Nathan, Hannah, Fiona, Forrest, Adele, Maddie, and Zoe.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Friday morning at Cress Funeral Home on 3610 Speedway Road, with interment following at Beit Olamim, located in Sunset Memory Gardens cemetery at 7302 Mineral Point Road. The entrance to Beit Olamim is on Westfield Road. There will be a meal of condolence after at Temple Beth El.
The family will observe traditional Shiva at Joel and Melanie's home. The home will be open to receive calls of condolence Saturday evening, 6:00-9:00 pm, with minyan at 7:00 pm.
SHIVA UPDATE: The home will be open to receive calls of condolence Sunday through Wednesday from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Minyan will begin at 4:30 today (Sunday, Feb. 11) and at 5:45 pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday -- in person at the Shiva home and also on Zoom.
Please do not bring food for sharing to the Shiva. Meals are being provided to the family.
