With great sadness, we write to inform you of the death on Sunday, January 21, of Ellen Kotler, mother of Joshua (Sarah) Rubin and Penina (Mike) Wryn, grandmother of Elijah, and sister of Mark, Burt, and Shira. Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Rubin.

Ellen was a member of Congregation B'nai Moshe in West Bloomfield, Michigan, which will be holding funeral services on Wednesday, January 24, at 1:00 pm.

The family will begin their Shiva observance with Congregation B'nai Moshe.

Joshua, Penina, and other family members will continue their Shiva observance with Beth Israel Center in Madison. Please join Beth Israel Center and help make the Shiva minyan:

• Saturday, January 27, at 6:00 pm on Zoom
• Sunday, January 28, at 8:15 am in person at Beth Israel Center and on Zoom
