With great sadness, we write to inform you of the death of Jerry Stewart, son of George and Kate Stewart, z"l, husband of Vicki, father of Lisa (Paul) Bebenek and Tracy (Joe) Kaplan, and grandfather of Emily and Alex Bebenek, Zoe and Lily Kaplan. He passed away peacefully in his home on March 3, 2024, at the age of 93.
Jerry served as president of the Madison Jewish Community Council (now the Jewish Federation of Madison) from 1982-1984.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 7, at 11:00 am, at Temple Beth El, 2702 Arbor Dr, Madison, WI 53711, followed by interment at Forest Hills,1 Speedway Rd, and then a meal of condolence at Temple Beth El.
A shiva minyan service will be held on Thursday, March 7 at 5:30 pm in the chapel at Capitol Lakes, 333 W. Main St, Madison.
