With great sadness, we write to inform you of the death of Judith (Judy) O’Brasky Schreiber, mother of Margaret Schreiber (Dave Sitz) and Beth Schreiber (Russell Kahn); grandmother of Julia Sitz, Jessie, and Ava Kahn. Judy passed away on Sunday, July 9, at Agrace in Madison, WI.
A graveside service will be held for Judy on Tuesday, July 11, at 10:00 am, at Beit Olamim Cemetery, located in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7302 Mineral Point Rd. Due to heavy construction on Mineral Point Road, use the Westfield Road entrance. Please save cemetery driveway parking for those that need it.
A meal of condolence at Cress Funeral Home, 6021 University Ave., Madison, will immediately follow the service.
Shivah minyan will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings (July 11–13) at Judy Schreiber's home.
Judy was an active leader in the Madison Jewish community, including at the Jewish Federation of Madison, where she was a longtime board member and past president, served as the interim executive director, the Annual Tzedakah Campaign chair three times, and on several board committees.
