With great sadness, we write to inform you of the death of Sylvia Friedman, wife of Reuben Friedman z"l, mother of Aaron (Sally Jones) Friedman and Cheryl (Louis) Essers, grandmother of Bekah (Oren Livnat), Robbin Friedman, Jonah (Alicia) Essers, Nina Essers z"l, and great-grandmother of Alma and Ellis Essers and Lucy and Eli Livnat.
The funeral will be held at Young Israel Shomrai Emunah in Silver Spring, MD, followed by a graveside service at Washington Capitol Hebrew Cemetery in Capitol Heights, MD.
Shiva will be held at the home of Cheryl Essers in Rockville, MD.
