With great sadness, we write to inform you of the death on September 4 of Sholom Alexander Banks, husband of Ruth Banks; father of Matt Banks (Simone Schweber), Michael (Robin) Banks, Beth (Jules) Cohn, and Jonathan (Judy) Banks; grandfather of Jess Banks (Molly Stuart), Maya Banks, Jeremy, David, and Danny.

The funeral will be at 12:00 pm CT on Thursday, September 7, at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels in Manalapan, NJ, with interment to follow at Mt. Sinai Cemetery in Marlboro, NJ.

Shiva will begin in New Jersey. In Madison, shiva visits will be welcome at Matt Banks's home between 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm on Monday, September 11, and Tuesday, September 12. At 6:15 pm on both evenings, evening minyan will be held simultaneously in the shiva home and on Zoom.
